I really liked the look of the IDA-X100 but thought the price tag was a bit much for the purpose of the player. I just plug in the iPod and shuffle all songs - no need for a fancy screen.
After searching for headunits that match the spec and looks of the X100 I finally came across this one - simple headunit with pure iPod control.
When I first wired it, I managed to get two of the powering cables mixed up but caraudiosecuity.com support helped me and the unit is working fine now.
Very good quality of sound and good compatibility with iPod, only down side is that its slow to react to skip functions and first turning on but I can cope with that
