This head unit is amazing!!! It is an all in one versatile HU which is easy to use, especially with my iPods. The sound quality is excellent and it has transformed my Alpine type E component and standard speakers in my car to sonic wonders!!!, it has clean and crisp sound with deep accurate bass. This unit has a 24 bit DAC built in, which has improved the sound clarity and output especially when listening to CD's iPod and USB. Excellent Bass Engine features for bass and treble settings, including subwoofer control. The 4 volt pre-outs for amplifier connectivity is superb, it produces a good solid signal and creates less distortion for better audio quality. It has quad illumination for the six glass buttons and dual for the front panel buttons to change colours to match my dash. The display is clear and easy to read. Overall this HU is cool and means business, the build quality is of a high standard as you would expect from a premium brand such as Alpine and it all feels solid and nice to touch, it looks good in the dash installed with its new display and features. Definitely made the right choice with this Alpine unit. Always been a Alpine audio fan and now always will be!!! Well done Alpine!!! Service from CarAudioSecurity was excellent and helped me out when I had an issue with the install.
