Good basic Headunit for the money, sounds OK but the frequency response of the internal amplifier isn't great (check the detailed specifications on the jvc website). I also do not like how the EQ also affects the RCA output which in my opinion shouldn't if you have it set to be a subwoofer (although i don't know if this is common amongst headunits).
The cd player is good no skipping etc, the USB input is OK but i have had some problems with it reading mp3's when skipping through especially on long tracks (mixes mainly so an hour+ long) it will flash up "Cannot read" and you have to take the usb stick out put it back in and it will continue playing.
Only bad thing i will say about it is the navigation through the folders/songs on a USB stick is pretty tedious and would be a lot easier if you could scroll with the volume knob like others.
But for the price it's hard to complain, a good upgrade from my stock tape player in my fiesta but have ordered a different one due to needing a high pass filter.
